The Rock promised that his Baywatch movie will be “big, fun, and RATED R… like me when I drink,” which sounds great and all. But there’s no way it’ll be the best Baywatch movie. That honor goes to the direct-to-video classic, Baywatch the Movie: Forbidden Paradise , which my favorite reviewer, Some Guy on Amazon, called “the Citizen Kane of the nineties.” The new Baywatch will have to settle for being the The Lady from Shanghai of the 2010s.
